The Farm
eWORKs FaRM is a year Round Regenerative Market Garden serving the people of Socorro County. Everything is grown free of any herbicide, fungicide, pesticides or any other cides. Vegetables, flowers, honey and eggs are for sale through our local weekly market.
The Project Funded
The For Farmers Grant will be used by eWORKs FaRM to extend of growing season here in New Mexico. It will help with the purchase of plastic and metal structures to make tunnels over our permanent beds.
Project Impact
The For Farmers Grant will enable eWORKs FaRM to grow a larger amount of greens during the winter season and start plants earlier in spring, allowing us to increase our production but more importantly, the Grant will impact our community by providing more greens during the winter to our 300 some customers at the market.
