Abounding Acres is a family-run, USDA Certified Organic market garden farm in Ashland, Missouri. We grow fresh, seasonal produce year-round with care for the land and our community.
The Project Funded
The purpose of this For Farmers grant is to support the installation of permanent irrigation lines and hydrants across our two-acre market garden at Abounding Acres. This funding will allow us to bring reliable water access directly to our growing plots, significantly improving the efficiency, consistency, and sustainability of our irrigation system.
Project Impact
This grant will improve on-farm efficiency and crop health by providing reliable irrigation access, allowing us to grow more consistent, high-quality produce. Increased yields and reduced waste strengthen our farm’s viability and expand access to fresh, locally grown food for our community.
