The Farm
Zincseed Garden Flower Farm is situated on 5 acres in the Appalachian region of western North Carolina. We offer a diverse selection of flowers, totaling over 100 varieties, sold direct to retail, wholesale, and at local farmer’s markets.
The Project Funded
I will be using this grant to amend the soil in our new growing beds formed after flooding damage from hurricane Helene. All the compost and amendments in our previous growing space washed downstream in the flood.
Project Impact
Besides the physical needs of amending the soil, receiving this support from someone who believes in my farm and my flower filled dream makes a huge difference to me. It also ensures I will be able to share my love of flowers with my customers and community.
