The Farm
We are first-generation farmers and artists. We first met at a rodeo and bonded over our shared love of working with animals, and land and documenting that experience as artists and agrarians. Our goal at Y Knot Farm + Ranch is to live as important parts of an ecosystem and to share that with our community. For us, that’s growing nutrient-dense food by stewarding our 60 acres with the help of our livestock that feeds our friends and families.
The Project Funded
We had a major setback this summer -- losing over $16k worth of product due to a faulty meat processor. Anything helps us to get back on our feet after such a major loss, we are so grateful!
Project Impact
Such a significant loss has a major impact on a small farm like ours. This grant is enabling us to get one step closer to recouping after such an event!
