The Farm
Working Dog Farms is a first generation, female owned farm located in Southern New Jersey specializing in the production of chicken eggs and seasonal produce while also providing family friendly experiences, including pumpkin picking and future choose-and-cut Christmas trees.
The Project Funded
The For Farmers Grant will be used to purchase a set of pallet forks for our tractor to assist in making daily life on the farm easier and more efficient. (Who knew the amount of time we would spend manually moving things around the farm!?)
Project Impact
The For Farmers Grant providing for the purchase of an essential piece of equipment will significantly reduce the amount of time and manual labor required for many of our daily tasks, which in turn allows us to continue to grow and expand in other areas.
