The Farm
Working Dog Farms is a first generation, female owned farm specializing in the production of chicken eggs and seasonal produce while also providing family friendly experiences, including pumpkin picking and future choose and cut Christmas trees.
The Project Funded
Our For Farmers Grant award will be used in conjunction with Fluffy Farms’ grant award to purchase a shared-use commercial dehydrator, which we will use to make shelf-stable, value-added products from our fresh produce.
Project Impact
The For Farmers Grant award will allow for the purchase of equipment that will enable two farms to expand production, reduce waste and increase sales by providing for efficient, on-farm production of shelf stable, value-added products highly sought after by our customers.
