The Farm
Wildberry is a family-run farm in Crownsville, Maryland, growing produce, flowers, and herbs while hosting farm-to-table dinners and community gatherings. We focus on regenerative practices, local food access, and creating meaningful connections between land, food, and people.
The Project Funded
Grant funds will be used to purchase refrigeration for produce, eggs, and prepared items for farm-to-table dinners. Proper cold storage is essential for food safety, quality, and reducing waste as we expand direct-to-consumer sales and on-farm dining.
The Project Impact
Improved refrigeration will allow us to safely store fresh food, reduce spoilage, and serve more guests through farm-to-table dinners. This strengthens local food systems, increases access to fresh farm products, and supports the long-term sustainability of our small family farm.
