The Farm
At Wild Earth Farm we’re on a mission to nourish body, soil, and soul. To us that means planting thousands of trees into our perennial silvopasture system to nourish our soil and our animals. In turn our animals nourish our bodies and our souls. We raise our 100% grass-fed beef and lamb on our certified organic pastures in the hills of Vermont.
The Project Funded
The grant supported lambing jugs for Icelandic sheep.
The Project Impact
This is our first year expanding into sheep, and we have been building as we go. The grant helped us build lambing jugs for our flock of Icelandic sheep, giving ewes and newborn lambs a safe, quiet place to bond during the most delicate days of the season.
