The Farm
Valhalla Ranch is a veteran-owned and operated 220-acre farm. We raise cattle and poultry, keep bees, grow produce, and craft goods like honey and other value-added goods. Our mission is to protect the land while providing high-quality, locally sourced products for our community.
The Project Funded
This form of funding will help to improve our high tunnel with better quality irrigation and essential equipment, enhancing efficiency, crop quality, and sustainability. This support strengthens our ability to produce local food, expand our products and goods to the community, and responsibly manage our land for long-term growth.
Project Impact
This project will improve productivity and sustainability by providing consistent irrigation for strawberries and vegetables. The system reduces labor, conserves water, boosts yields and produce quality, and supports expanded local sales through farmers markets and partners like Hensler’s and Galaxy—strengthening our community connection with high quality goods and responsible agriculture mission.
