The Farm
True North Farmstead is a small family run sheep farm and dairy located in Chester County, PA. We make artisan sheep cheese and yogurt. We also offer fiber, wool, and spring lamb meat. We believe in the principles of food sovereignty and sustainability and aim to produce locally raised quality food.
The Project Funded
Our For Farmers Grant will be used to purchase a commercial display refrigerator that will allow us to open an on-farm store to sell our products.
The Project Impact
We would like to open a small farm store on our property to provide our local community with access to our cheeses as well as other local farm products. My hope with the farm store is that we can share the bounty of our farm and support other neighboring producers.
