The Farm

Trillium Family Farms is a small family farm in Tornado, West Virginia, raising St. Croix hair sheep and a healthy flock of chickens for eggs and meat. We focus on real food and sustainable practices. Our farm provides quality lamb and poultry for local families and is rooted in hard work and gratitude.

The Project Funded

The chicken tractor grant will transform our farm by allowing us to move our poultry to fresh pasture every day. It will improve bird health, lower feed costs, and raise the quality of our chicken and eggs. This support will help us grow sustainably and strengthen our future as a small family farm.

Project Impact

The chicken tractor grant will benefit our community by increasing access to healthy, pasture raised chicken and eggs from a trusted local source. It will strengthen local food security, support sustainable agriculture, and inspire others to explore small scale farming. The ripple effect will create healthier choices and stronger community connections
