The Farm
Tortoise & Hare Farm is a Certified Naturally Grown farm growing high quality vegetables for the West Michigan area.
The Project Funded
This grant will allow us to purchase a drop seeder for seeding trays used in our paperpot transplanter.
The Project Impact
We start all seeds by hand. This seeder will save us hours each week and allow us to tackle other tasks on the farm that we previously did not have time for. Adding tools that increase efficiency and speed make for happier employees. Creating a positive, enjoyable work environment is paramount for me. This tool will add to that.
