The Farm
We’re a first-generation family farm in Sams Valley, Oregon, milking seven Jersey cows who produce raw milk and dairy products for 120+ herdshare members. We offer farm fresh eggs, home baked goods, milk based skincare, and have a farmstore where visitors can watch the cows being milked while being greeted by the bray of our friendly donkeys.
The Project Funded
This generous grant will help us continue growing our farm by funding a new orchard and efficient drip irrigation system. These additions will support long-term sustainability, diversify what we produce, and allow us to offer even more fresh, homegrown goods to our community.
Project Impact
The For Farmers grant allows us to jump start a project that was otherwise going to be delayed. With funding for an orchard and drip system, we can break ground this spring, grow our farm faster, and offer a wider variety of products to move closer to a one-stop shop.
