The Farm
We are a 4-acre, natural farm in Chilton County, Alabama focused on organically and sustainably grown produce. We sell directly to our community through local farmer’s markets and our website. We are a family farm focused on sharing the importance of appreciating nature while growing nutrient dense fruits and vegetables with our children and neighbors.
The Project Funded
This generous grant will be used to create a pack and wash station on our farm. This station will improve our efficiency and productivity on the farm and allow our family kitchen to be accessible for cooking nutrient dense food for our children.
The Project Impact
Sustainable farming practices are not the norm in Alabama, but we want to be a part of the movement of farmers who are embracing and promoting organic and sustainable methods in our state. We focus on providing the highest quality produce we can to our community, while teaching others about the importance of organic farming methods.
