The Farm
A small, family-run, farm and farmstand just outside Boise, Idaho that produces Non-Certified Organic Produce, Pasture-Raised Chickens, offers life skills classes, and helps to support other local producers through our farmstand.
The Project Funded
These funds will be used to replace our broken-down mobile egg layer coop so we can continue to rotate the chickens behind the cows Spring - Fall.
The Project Impact
Our mobile layer coop, which follows the cows through pasture from spring to fall, finally broke down. The grant replaced it with a new mobile coop built on a trailer base we already had, sized for next year's bigger flock, keeping the chickens working behind the cattle.
