The Farm
Stout Oak Farm is an organic vegetable farm in Brentwood, New Hampshire. Our women-led team grows five acres of Certified Organic vegetables for our Farm Store, CSA shares, and for distribution through Three River Farmers Alliance, the local food hub we co-founded in 2014.
The Project Funded
We requested a grant to help us purchase an electric greens spinner which will increase the efficiency of our greens washing operation.
Project Impact
We are continually seeking to improve the production systems on our farm, for efficiency, quality, and worker satisfaction. Our limited budget to purchase the right tools and equipment are a barrier to making improvements to the way we work on our farm. The grant will enable us to make an equipment purchase that would otherwise not be able to make.
