The Farm
At Stormy Creek Farm, our family provides thoughtfully raised, 100% grass-fed and finished beef. We are dedicated to creating a better food system and farming sustainably for the good of our land, animals and fellow Minnesotans.
The Project Funded
We're using the For Farmers Grant for equipment to help us increase our rotational grazing efforts to revive some of our worn pastures and help us better manage and utilize our oak savannah.
Project Impact
We're currently in the season of farm transition and working on ensuring the farm is viable to serve our community in the future. This transition and expansion will take incredible investments up front, but will be set up to even more greatly benefit our local food system. This grant really helps get us on our way to tackling some of our first projects in funds and encouragement.
