The Farm
Stem & Vine Flower Farm operates on a 1/4-acre split between two locations in Bristol and Farmington, CT. As a newer farm, we focus on building a loyal customer base through subscriptions and local partnerships. Despite our modest scale, we emphasize quality, unique offerings, and sustainable practices to meet local demand.
The Project Funded
We’d complete our high tunnel to grow spring flowers earlier, gaining an edge in the early-season market. The tunnel will extend our growing season, increase productivity, and meet demand for premium blooms like ranunculus during Mother's Day.
The Project Impact
The grant would help us grow more flowers earlier, benefiting both our farm and the community. By providing fresh, locally grown flowers during non-peak seasons, we strengthen our role as a trusted local source for high-quality blooms while supporting local businesses, promoting sustainability, and inspiring connection through the beauty of flowers.
