The Farm
We are a small diversified hillside farm located in Petersburgh, NY. We specialize in organically grown veggies & flowers, grass fed beef, pastured pork, eggs, and maple syrup.
The Project Funded
We will be purchasing the Quick-cut Greens Harvester from Farmers Friend. This will cut our harvesting time down significantly for fresh greens to bring to market and our CSA.
The Project Impact
Harvesting a 45 foot bed of arugula by hand took 45 minutes with a knife. The grant purchased a Quick-Cut Greens Harvester that does the same work roughly nine times faster, getting fresh greens to market and our CSA with far less strain on us.
