The Farm
Spring Wind Farm offers sustainably grown specialty cut flowers for wholesale to the NYC and NJ markets. We sell through a grower own cut flower cooperative to best serve our designer customers.
The Project Funded
The grant will be used to install automatic irrigation misters/sprinklers in our propagation house. This will help increase germination rate and success of new germinated seeds and seedlings.
Project Impact
Having an scheduled irrigation will reduce stress from myself and employees for having to get to the propagation house to water on busy hot days. Better germination and seedling success with improve the quality of flowers we can offer our customers and it will help the farm become more profitable.
