The Farm
We are first generation farmers where we raise Nigerian Dwarf goats bred for dairy, and lease and manage honeybee hives for folks who need bees for agricultural exemption.
The Project Funded
Queen honeybees to install in hive splits, and new hive equipment
The Project Impact
Every spring we split our honeybee hives, and each new colony needs a mated queen at about $45 apiece. The grant funded queens and new insulated hive equipment, building out hives ready to lease to properties across our area, and keeping bees cool through Texas summers.
