The Farm
Pitch Pine Farm is a certified organic farm located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. It's known for it's ultra fresh variety of produce to sell locally. The farm focuses on sustainable growing methods and soil health to produce high-quality, flavorful crops.
The Project Funded
The grant funds will help us with our recovery from Hurricane Helene. We were impacted by the disastrous weather event and suffered many losses including our entire fall and winter crop. These funds will help us get back on our feet.
Project Impact
Having funds to tap into for our expenses over the winter will ensure that we can get back to successful growing and providing produce to our local community. Once we are back in business, we will continue to attend the weekly market and provide our customers with nourishing produce.
