The Farm
Organically Grown Queen is an urban micro-farm and garden-based education initiative rooted in Boston. We grow organic vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruit in small spaces while teaching families, students, and communities how to cultivate food, wellness, and sustainability in urban environments.
The Project Funded
The For Farmers Grant will support soil health, seeds, tools, and infrastructure for our urban farm. Funding will expand production, improve efficiency, and strengthen our ability to provide hands-on agricultural education and fresh, organic food to students and local families.
The Project Impact
This grant will increase food access, enhance environmental education, and empower youth through garden-based learning. By strengthening our farm, we create healthier ecosystems, inspire future growers, and provide culturally responsive, therapeutic learning opportunities that connect community members to land, food, and self-sufficiency.
