The Farm
We are a small medicinal herb farm located on the Southern Oregon Coast with a focus on regenerative and sustainable growing practices. We value add most of our herbs into tinctures, salves, and syrups and will start offering bulk herbs in the near future.
The Project Funded
We've desperately needed to build a large dehydrater to dry the medicinal herbs that we grow. We outgrew our small dehydraters and hanging racks and a lot of our crops last season ended up being composted because of it. This project will allow us to offer more herbs in both quantity & variety to our community and help us be much more efficient.
The Project Impact
Drying space was the bottleneck of our whole operation; we lost crops last season rotating small dehydrators around the clock. The grant funded a large dehydrator we built ourselves, so the medicinal herbs we grow can be dried properly and offered to our customers.
