The Project Funded
The purpose of the For Farmers Grant is for building materials and equipment to increase our rabbitry.While we currently have the space and breeding stock to meet some of the demand for rabbit meat, we are only able to produce just enough to get by. After factoring in the true costs of production, harvesting, and packaging, it takes a long time to save enough capital to expand on our own.
Project Impact
This will have a significant impact on our farm and our community. There are very few rabbit meat producers, and we are unable to meet demand. Increasing our meat production will enable us to distribute meat to a larger number of people in our community.
