The Farm
We are a 2 acre farm in Calumet that uses sustainable practices to grow nutritious, high quality vegetables, berries, herbs, & cut flowers. We also make our own apple cider vinegar, sourdough bread and other value added products. Our focus is on cultivating community and providing food to our amazing customers.
The Project Funded
We plan on buying paper pot equipment to increase production and decrease time spent transplanting. With this equipment we will be able to get more beets, lettuce and other row crops to our wholesale and market customers.
Project Impact
Our local schools and Meals on Wheels programs have received grants to purchase local produce. The grant money for new tools will help us to meet the demand and save precious time to grow other aspects of our farm and increase products to all of our customers.
