The Farm

Muck and Mystery Farm is a small diversified vegetable farm in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Crops are grown without chemicals and the fields are managed under organic and low-till principles.

The Project Funded

I will use my grant to purchase high-quality compost to amend the soil of a new field I began cropping last season. Spreading more of this compost now will enable me to improve the soil quality and thus crop quality and production of the new field more quickly.

Project Impact

I am in the process of expanding my farm from a one-acre field onto an additional three-acre field. By improving the soil health of the new field with compost, I will be able to produce more vegetables for my CSA members.
