The Farm
We are a husband and wife small scale vegetable farm with big dreams. Right now we farm mixed vegetables on 1/2 acre and have egg laying chickens and bees. We are certified naturally grown and we like to work with nature rather than against her, especially being in such a snowy location.
The Project Funded
We will be adding a sprinkler system to our Caterpillar tunnels to help with watering. Right now we just have one sprinkler system and we move constantly to water each plot. This will help save so much time and water plants quicker.
The Project Impact
We had one sprinkler set that we walked from plot to plot all day. The grant added irrigation kits to our caterpillar tunnels, watering the plants more efficiently and giving us our time back for the rest of the farm.
