The Farm
We are a small farm in southern Ohio. We raise registered St. Croix Hair Sheep on a total of about 20 acres of owned and leased property. The production of high quality breeding stock using regenerative grazing practices is our focus.
The Project Funded
We are collaborating with two other farms to enhance the quality and genetics of our heritage breed St. Croix Hair Sheep by strategically purchasing, testing, and sharing breeding rams.
Project Impact
This grant project will give us and our two partners access to genetically superior breeding rams that can be fully tested and evaluated for performance traits. By working together, our farms can save time and money while producing quality animals for other flock owners.
