The Farm
The Little Muskingum Kettle Farm is a 1/10-acre herbal tea farm that grows, dries, and packages all products onsite utilizing natural growing methods and compostable packaging.
The Project Funded
I am currently in the process of planning a field expansion for 2026, which would require me to hire additional employees---and more employees means more tools! I will be using the For Farmers Grant to purchase clippers and buckets for harvest, as well as field prep tools.
Project Impact
This grant will directly assist me in creating two new jobs for my community as I expand my farm in 2026. The expansion is necessary for the financial longevity of the farm, so the For Farmers Grant is helping ensure that Ohio has locally-grown herbal tea for decades to come!
