The Farm
Link Land & Livestock is a pasture-based sheep operation in Whatcom County focused on expanding access to locally raised lamb and integrating regional wool into domestic supply chains. Operating entirely on leased ground, we keep agricultural land productive through intentional, management-intensive grazing.
The Project Funded
This grant will be used to help purchase mobile field handling infrastructure & temporary fencing, both for our own farm use and for shared use with other local small flocks in need of mobile handling systems for low-stress livestock management.
Project Impact
I launched my farm using shearing income and personal savings, relying on borrowed equipment. Operating across multiple leased pastures requires efficient, mobile infrastructure. This grant allows me to invest in my own equipment, scale my flock responsibly, expand the acreage I am able to graze, and bring more locally raised, pasture-based lamb into more kitchens.
