The Farm
Kornecopia Farm is a new, small, women-owned vegetable farm nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. Armed with years of study, research, and practice in regenerative agriculture practices, we put the soil first. Our goal is to provide high quality, nutrient-dense produce for our community with practices modeled after Nature.
The Project Funded
This grant will assist me in transitioning the land from heavily tilled to low- and no-till in order to build the soil microbial population and organic matter.
The Project Impact
With improved soil health, I intend to produce food with more vitality and nutrient density to the staff at our local hospital, as well as to the hospitality house, a resource for our community’s food–insecure population.
