The Farm
We are a Grade A raw milk goat dairy and educational farm. Our mission is to encourage and educate our community to eat local, seasonal and sustainable. Come experience educational farm tours, classes and workshops and purchase goat milk, kefir, eggs, produce, herbs, cut flowers, goat milk soap and more.
The Project Funded
We will establish a silvo-pasture based rotational grazing ecosystem that will allow access to new and sustainable forage areas adjacent to our existing pasture. This will improve the overall health and welfare of our livestock and allow us the space needed to increase the size of our dairy herd.
Project Impact
This system will facilitate reduction of non-native and invasive plant species, increase soil fertility, allow access to natural shade and cover, open new areas that support growing unique crops, increase habitat for pollinators and native wildlife while improving our ability to meet the increasing demands for fresh local food from our rapidly growing community.
