The Farm
We are a small-scale farm with a 1-acre homestead. Currently we are indoor farmers and grow exclusively microgreens. however, our passion for gardening and growing is leading us to expand in the next growing year. We are currently installing a high tunnel and planning our crops for the upcoming year.
The Project Funded
We plan to use the grant money to install all of the irrigation for our high tunnel and outdoor growing space.
Project Impact
Being awarded this grant means so much for us and our family. It will help us to set everything up that we need for a successful growing season next year. We are so thrilled to be expanding our farm to include many fruits and vegetable, which we will be selling to our local community through a farm stand and farmers market.
