The Farm
A small 15 acre farm that raises pasture raised meat chickens, hogs, and eggs. Regenerative agriculture practices are used to manage animals.
The Project Funded
A permanent lean to/shelter will be constructed for my pigs to provide shelter for them from the sun and any bad weather that comes our way.
The Project Impact
Our pigs' shelter was hollow pipe and tarp, and the tarp kept ripping. The grant purchased materials for a permanent wood and metal lean-to that gives them real protection from sun and weather, whatever comes our way.
