The Farm
We primarily raise pastured and grass fed meat and eggs, as well as some produce. We are not certified, but we do everything organically and with an overarching goal of sustainability.
The Project Funded
We are using the For Farmers Grant to help pay for a large commercial chest freezer in order to increase production and allow us to store enough meat to sell through the winter.
Project Impact
We are always running out of meat part way through the winter because we have limited storage. With commercial freezer space, we can increase our production in the warmer months so that we don’t have to tell our community “sold out til next season!”
