Fat Rabbit Farms

The Farm

Fat Rabbit Farms is a seven-acre farm with a one-acre market garden, indoor microgreens facility, and laying hens. We are Certified Naturally Grown and grow year-round. We sell at markets, to restaurants, from our online store, and off our farm. We host classes, dinners, and other events.

The Project Funded

Fat Rabbit Farms was awarded a $500 grant to help build an equipment shed. We currently house tools and equipment in plastic hoop houses and outside under tarps. This shed will be a close distance to the farm, and the secure structure will keep equipment and tools protected from the elements.

Project Impact

This grant will protect our farm equipment from damage from rain, wind, hail, etc., so funds won't be wasted on unnecessary replacement. It will also open space in the greenhouse and hoop houses where some tools and equipment are currently being stored. This will help us grow more food for our community!
