The Farm
Encompass is a mixed organic farm in the foothills of NC feeding over 100 asheville families year-round through a subscription weekly Veggie Box. In addition to fresh vegetables, I grow and hand make a line of value add products ranging from botanical wreaths to seasoning blends that are shipped nationwide.
The Project Funded
I'm seeking grant funding to hire an Ecommerce expert to take my business to the next level and implement the software that my company needs in order to expand effectively into e-commerce. For a farm primarily specializing in fresh products this is a big but exciting leap!
Project Impact
Thank you for the opportunity! This grant embodies the parable of give a man a fish and he eats for a day - teach a man to fish and he eats for life. This grant would allow me to innovate my business to generate income in a new sales outlet for life!
