The Farm
We are a dairy farm that makes award winning farmstead cow's milk cheese and offers farm to table meals.
The Project Funded
Fencing cows out of the wildlife pond and creating internal divisions for rotationally grazing the silvopasture where the cows go during extreme heat.
The Project Impact
The grant will help us improve the health of the cows by reducing heat stress by increasing the grazing areas in the forest. Protecting the farm pond from the cows allows us to conserve wildlife areas.
