The Farm
Our NY State Grown and Certified and Climate Beneficial Verified sheep and poultry farm produces lamb, eggs and a large variety of value-added wool products. We operate sustainably using regenerative practices; adhering to EU Ecological standards to produce superior healthy and useful items while acting as stewards of our farmland.
The Project Funded
Our grant will be used to purchase an automatic heated waterer unit to install in our smaller barn to ensure a clean and steady water source for the safety and well-being of our sheep. This is part of a larger plumbing implementation project of our grazing management plan.
Project Impact
This funding will enable us to continue to serve the needs of our livestock and ensure they are able to produce the meat and fiber we provide to our community. It will also ensure that our use of water is optimized and we can adhere to our conservation practices.
