The Farm

Dalkena Highlands is a 115 acre regenerative farm in Newport, WA, specializing in Highland cattle for beef production and breeding. With rotational grazing, a farm store, and a greenhouse, it supports sustainable practices while offering high-quality meat, eggs, and produce. The farm fosters community connections and continually improves its operations.

The Project Funded

The For Farmers Grant supports sustainable agriculture by funding projects like Dalkena Highlands Happy Farmer Coop mobile chicken house. This innovative solution enhances rotational grazing, boosts egg production, and enables meat processing, fostering regenerative practices, increasing profitability, and strengthening local food systems for a resilient farming future.

The Project Impact

The $500 For Farmers Grant allows Dalkena Highlands to enhance egg production and pasture management with a mobile chicken house. This investment improves soil health, increases local food availability, and supports sustainable farming practices, directly benefiting our community with fresh, high-quality products and a healthier environment.
