The Farm
We are small for profit urban farm operation out of the south and west side of Chicago. We serve our community fresh veggies at a twice a week farm stand plus our 40 family CSA. We are BIPOC Owned and led.
The Project Funded
This grant will aid in the building of our fence which needs to be upgraded in order to secure our event space. Currently its an old wooden fence that I falling apart and not looking to good to the community so this will also add value to our block as we make the space more beautiful.
Project Impact
This will help reface a part of the farm which is not looking so good. This will improve our image in our community as well as improve signage which will let the community know what to look out for from us with events and such. Most importantly it will make our space safer and less liable to be robbed or have people harassed.
