Indiana

The Farm

We raise registered Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats, Swedish Flower Hens, and garlic among other fruits and vegetables on 11.7 A in northern Indiana using regenerative grazing practices. We offer goat milk soap made with essential oils, garlic and new for 2026 we plan to obtain a raw pet milk license.

The Project Funded

The For Farmers grant provides a second netted fence and portable solar charger to better implement AMP grazing. (Adaptive Multi-Paddock grazing) AMP grazing has been proven to deepen root depth creating an environment to increase water retention, soil microbes and micronutrients, plant diversity by activating a latent seed bank and several other benefits to the environment.

Project Impact

In 2025 we were able to AMP graze a little over 2 acres with adult does. A second fence will provide means to AMP graze the dry yearlings and weanlings. While the long-term benefits are still manifesting, Hay costs are greatly reduced in the short term. AMP grazing has also been shown to increase pasture yields over time as the soil becomes healthier.
