The Farm
At Butter Hill Heritage Pork, we pasture raise KuneKune pigs for the purpose of pork production, specifically elevated charcuterie meats such as European style salamis, guanciale, and more.
The Project Funded
Our For Farmers grant will be used to purchase a new Port-a-Hut shelter for our pigs. These shelters are mobile and allow us to rotationally graze through the growing season.
Project Impact
The purchase of an additional Port-a-Hut shelter will enable us to increase our production by approximately 6-10 pigs per year, which has a significant impact on our bottom line and allows us to stock even more delicious pork products for our community.
