The Farm
Located off the mountains in Montgomery, we raise grass fed/grass finished beef and pasture pork for direct to consumer sales and wholesale sales of cuts by the pound and by animal. Our animals are born and raised on the farm from our stock and grown to market size.
The Project Funded
A neighbor recently purchased 10 acres that borders our property and has generously offered it for our beef cattle to graze. With the growth of our herd of now 90 plus cattle of all ages and climate change, these funds will be used for fencing supplies needed to allow them to graze the land.
Project Impact
Fencing is expensive! This forage access will not only help feed our herd, but in turn help continue to feed our community. Demand for our beef has grown, and the 2 year turn around from birth to market with extra land to graze will not only feed the growing herd, but also preserve and improve the quality of the land with the cattle working the soil while grazing. Plus people love seeing how their food is raised.
