The Farm
We are a greenhouse and farm production farm. We grow a wide variety of perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables. We also raise livestock including sheep, goats, pigs, chickens/eggs and our wonderful Livestock guardian dogs. Our farm includes three short term rentals where you can come to visit our farm and stay the night too.
The Project Funded
We requested funds from the For Farmers Grant to allow us to purchase a new freezer for our farm meats. With the new freezer we will be able to set up and sell our farm raised meats to our local community and guest that visit our farm.
Project Impact
This grant will have a huge impact on how we can offer our farm raised meats to the community. Having a designated freezer for meat raised on our farm will get us approved to sell direct to the public from our farm.
