The Farm
Bene Vivendo Farm grows specialty vegetables, fruit and herbs plus edible flowers and flowers for bouquets using organic methods in Arizona’s Low Desert. Bene Vivendo also offers everlasting dried wreaths and bouquets created from its own farm-grown florals.
The Project Funded
Bene Vivendo is expanding and will use the grant funds to help pay for equipment needed for the new farm location. The funds are earmarked for the drip irrigation system, the most efficient way to deliver water to the root zone of food crops.
Project Impact
The new location is currently an empty field and creating a functioning farm with fertile soil, an irrigation system and other operational equipment will require substantial investment.
With this expansion, Bene Vivendo will significantly increase its food and flower production and boost its contribution to the local food system.
