The Farm
Dahlia farm and honey bee haven created from the ashes of the CZU wildfire. We are a you-pick flower farm offering seasonal farm visits and you-pick bouquets. We host volunteer education weekly and paid workshops in dahlia growing.
The Project Funded
First off: Thank you!
We will be using this grant to replace our main water system in the dahlia field.
Project Impact
Our farm is on an exposed mountain ridge, and we are subjected to all sorts of whirlwind weather. Having a new, fully functioning water system will help our farm immensely. Irregular watering causes stress and makes for poor flower formation. We're hoping this updated system will help us grow more beauty dahlias!
